Descripción: About the AuthorI'm Anita Bijsterbosch. I was born in 1961 in The Netherlands. My entire life, I have loved reading. As a child, I could spend hours thumbing through books, looking at the pictures, and hoping I could one day make such beautiful illustrations myself. I studied the images down to the smallest detail and made up my own little stories to go along with them. After high school, I took drawing and painting lessons in small galleries in my neighborhood. And I learned a lot from drawing and painting books. But I also mastered many techniques simply by experimenting with them on my own. When my children were still young, I read them a bedtime story every night. I rediscovered that some picture books are real pieces of art. That’s when I got the ambition to make my very own picture books. I was remarked by the jury of the Key Colours International Illustrators Award 2012. The book Whose Hat is That? was published by Clavis Publishing and every book I have made since has been even more successful.“This Dutch/Belgian import will be useful during that seemingly endless time of toilet training.” - Kirkus ReviewsBunny loves her potty. She likes to sit on it all the time. But one day, Bunny can't find it. And Bunny really needs to go potty! What will she do now? She can’t hold it anymore! Will using the real potty be as scary as it looks?A happy book to help toddlers with potty training, with surprising flaps! For toddlers ages 30 months and up.From School Library JournalToddler-PreS—Transitioning from potty to porcelain throne is frightening for some, and so it is for Bunny, who loves her potty and takes it everywhere until she loses it. Visiting her pals Tiger, Cow, and Giraffe, all of whom are concealed behind door flaps and just happen to be sitting on the toilet, Bunny still can't find her potty. Having seen all her friends happily seated on real potties, which Giraffe points out you can never lose, Bunny finds that she, too, no longer needs her potty. VERDICT Would that it were so easy to get toddlers over this phobia. Other books address this more realistically.—Jan Aldrich Solow, formerly Fairfax County Public Sch., VAReview“This Dutch/Belgian import will be useful during that seemingly endless time of toilet training.” - Kirkus Reviews"A great potty training book for when a child needs to switch from the little potty to the big potty. Cute illustrations and lift a flap make it perfect for little hands! Silly ending where the potty becomes part of their garden so be prepared when your child also wants to put their potty in the garden!" - Read Aloud Librarian"This is a really cute book about a little bunny making the transition from a kiddie potty to a grown-up potty. It's cute with cute characters behind flaps." - Kankakee School District"How cute! We’re the first thoughts that ran though my mind as I began to read this book. All the bunny wants to do it use the potty, but it is also about the exploration of how other use the potty. This is similar to how children learn about the potty, and ‘The Missing Potty’ is just the book for that. Thank you Bunny for the journey as you explored what it looked like to use the potty." - CoreABA
