About the Author
Sheri Booker is an award winning author and educator. She is the author of Nine Years Under: Coming of Age in an Inner City Funeral Home, One Woman, One Hustle and Imagine a Brown Girl. Her work has appeared in Essence and Baltimore Magazine. She currently teaches writing and production at Morgan State University.
