Descripción: About the Author Adam Ciccio (1983 - ) was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and raised in Savannah, Georgia during his teen and young adult years. He graduated from St. Andrew's Preparatory School (Savannah, GA) in 2002. Adam graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of New Hampshire (Durham, NH) in 2006. He then pursued a Master of Science in Psychological Counseling at Salem State University (Salem, MA), graduating in 2012. Adam owns and operates a mental health private practice for children and adults in Marblehead, Massachusetts, the same town where he currently resides. Adam's first book, “Anxious Andy,” (Lulu Press, 2018) was developed as an introductory for parents and teachers to discuss the emotion of anxiety with children in early childhood, helping with early intervention of anxiety disorders. “Macie’s Mirror” (Clavis, 2019), a story about a little girl breaking free of her own fixation of popularity and self-image, was inspired by Adam’s first-born daughter, Charlotte. Katrien Benaets obtained her master’s degree in Free and Applied Graphics at PIKOH (Hasselt). Ever since her hands can hold a pencil, drawing has been her greatest passion. She loves to convert stories to images, to let images speak, and to make children dream of a different world full of fantasy. A cheerful and imaginative book that invites everyone to go outside. For adventurers ages 5 years and up.The clouds are gone and the sun is out. It’s time to put the phones away and enjoy the sunshine before the sun goes down. There are so many things to explore outside. Play soccer, skateboard, or find new bugs! What will you do with your time outside? Review "A beautifully illustrated book with an excellent message…especially since so many children have been stuck at home these past couple of years. " - Fort York Library"A great read for little adventurers, especially after nearly two years of a pandemic. This is a great story if you want to encourage your child to play outside more. It follows one child's day outside and all the things he could accomplish. The art work is simple but encapsulates al the colors of the outdoors." - Bucks County Free Library "When the sun comes out, there's a world of possibilities to explore! Given the choice, who wants to stay indoors when there are so many adventures to be had? Kids are encouraged and inspired to find fun activities outside with friends and family in this sweet book. Told in rhymes, the tone is upbeat and cheerful. The illustrations are soft, lively, and really support the story well. Kids will enjoy looking at all the little details and seeing the various animal characters. This would be a great circle time read and would make a wonderful addition to school and classroom libraries for pre-K and early elementary." - BookWorks
