From School Library Journal

Gr 1-4-In his third adventure, Sir Ladybug receives an ant-delivered notice that a book he checked out from the library is nearly overdue. Upon his "knightly honor," Sir Ladybug vows to return the book before the sunset deadline. Bug after bug after bug calls for help, though, derailing the quest. The ultimate snag: a trio of bookworms traps Sir Ladybug and friends and tries to eat the book. Who will stop them? Tabor's latest follows the same welcoming, predictable format as the previous volumes: a prologue and/or epilogue, with short chapters and interludes between. The low panel count and abundant white space helps keep the book accessible to newer comics readers. Promoting honorable values and contagious silliness, this romp ultimately delivers on the promise that libraries can be for everyone-even bookworms. VERDICT A loving ode to books, reading, and community-supported libraries. Recommended for all collections.α(c) Copyright 2011. Library Journals LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc. Review

"Full of tongue-in-cheek humor and visual gags, this is an exceptional transitional comic marked by an energetic pace, uncluttered panel layouts, and short chapters that will prime slightly more advanced readers for more complex comics and chapter books." — Bulletin of the Center for Children’s Books
"Tabor keeps the laughs coming in this new addition to his wonderful graphic-reader series. Though the bookish jokes and underlying message about everyone being welcome at the library will make it a particular favorite among librarians, kids will get a kick out of the story’s elevation of a common scenario...into a full-blown quest." — Booklist
