It provides a companion reference book for the various systems engineering-related training being offered under NASA’s auspices.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis handbook consists of six chapters:\u003cbr\u003e(1) an introduction,\u003cbr\u003e(2) a systems engineering fundamentals discussion,\u003cbr\u003e(3) the NASA program\/project life cycles,\u003cbr\u003e4) systems engineering processes to get from a concept to a design,\u003cbr\u003e(5) systems engineering processes to get from a design to a final product, and\u003cbr\u003e(6) crosscutting management processes in systems engineering.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe chapters are supplemented by appendices that provide outlines, examples, and further information to illustrate topics in the chapters.
